How Long Should You Wait to Ask for a Second date?
A gent recently asked me how long should you wait between the first and second date. I have my own opinion on this topic but I wanted to know what other ladies thought. 118 women from our instagram community gave their answer to the question all men ponder.

I was actually very surprised by the data, but then again, in a perfect world, far (far) away from this not-so-perfect world, if the date had gone extremely well, there was chemistry and desire, of course the majority of women would want to be asked out within this timeframe.
When should you ask someone out on a second date?
Based on the data provided by 118 honest women, 73% of these women believe its appropriate to ask for a second date 1-2 days after the first date.
44% of women said its ok to ask 1 day after the first date.
29% of women said its ok to ask 2 days after the first date.
15% of women said its ok to ask 3 days after the first date.
12% of women said its ok to ask 4+ days after the first date.
I think its quite circumstantial— if you believe the date went well, sure, why not ask the next day or two to see each other in the near future? By you asking for another opportunity to see and get to know her, it shows her your intentions, consistency and confidence— PSA, us women LOVE that.
If you’re questioning how the overall date went, I don’t think its a bad idea to follow up 2-3 days later and feel out her vibe. Regardless, you’ll only get an answer if you ask. So ask. Best case scenario, you two go out again. Second best scenario, she politely declines date number two and you can move on to someone who is more aligned with you.
How to tell if she likes you:
If you are questioning if she likes you, the answer is quite simple— If you ask her out and she gives you an excuse without posing a different day or mentioning she would like to see you again, she’s not interested. For more details on that scenario, check out this article I wrote on how to tell if they’re interested in you.
