The idea of sexual well-being, desire and pleasure remaining hidden behind an army of social norms, stigma, religious views, and inherited beliefs is… fcking terrifying. I completely understand how it can make us ladies feel when we have been taught to suppress our sexuality: “ladies don’t do that”, “a lady would never say that”, “she’s not a lady”. Those dated responses are boring— give me anything BUT boring.

After doing all this research, I confirmed four things…

1. Talking about sex is fun (jk, already knew that 😉).
2. The masses are uneducated on the opposite gender’s desires/points of pleasure.
3. The majority of men and women are too afraid or do not know how to communicate their own desires/pleasure and ask their partner about theirs.
4. Men and women aren’t that different after all - speaking from a sexual standpoint, the majority of men and women very much desire the same things.

This article won’t be teaching you how to communicate your desires/pleasure points— that’s an entirely different discussion. This article is FILLED with REAL stats from our curious Instagram community about a man’s sexual desires and pleasure points.

Do men enjoy going down on women?

Ladies, there are precisely 238 out of 245 men who genuinely enjoy going down on a woman. Don’t you dare settle for someone who deprives you of this pleasure. Contrary to societal norms, stigma and old beliefs, you are VERY much worthy and deserving of such pleasure.

Do men prefer lights to be on, off or dimmed during sex?

Just like the majority of us women, the majority of men ALSO prefer the lights to be dimmed instead of on/off. Isn’t there just something so cozy yet sexy about a dimmed environment? It automatically makes things slightly more intimate yet comfortable which allows us to feel more confident. Shouts to the 234 men who are agree with the lighting situation ;).

Do men prefer morning or evening sex?

Ok, ladies, I was actually surprised by these results. Though the spread isn’t huge, the numbers still point to the majority of men preferring morning sex. Would you have guessed that?! After chatting about it further with a few men, they told me that they are usually larger and harder in the mornings, hence the term ‘morning wood’. They also mentioned that they have more energy and that it’s a great way to start the day. No arguments there 😉.

Do men want you to surprise them by getting into the shower with them?

This is a no brainer. It’s spontaneous, hot and playful— check, check, check. Brave ladies, proceed.

I feel like I have to say something… Mom, Dad, family, family friends… I DID NOT ASK THESE QUESTIONS, OKAY? I AM JUST THE LIAISON HERE. I really don’t know how I ended up in this situation, but apparently there is a need for a middle-woman.

Do guys like it when you play with their balls?

The results say YES. But ladies, if and when in doubt, always ask if they’re into this sort of thing. Some guys are really sensitive down there to the point where it doesn’t actually feel that good.

Are guys down to be choked during sex?

K, whoa. I was NOT expecting such high numbers for “yes”. A lot of these men responded and said they were into a lighter choking situation. Honestly ladies, I haven’t done this to a guy so I really have no pointers here to give other than… JUST ASK what they are into. I understand that when things get hot and heavy, you may dip into new territory before you realize what’s even going on BUT… I always say play it safe and ask. Plus, asking those types of questions builds intimacy and passion between the two of you 😉.

What speed do men like for oral sex?

78% of men prefer a mix of fast, medium and slow.
9% of men prefer a fast rhythm.
9% of men prefer a medium tempo.
4% a slow speed.

As always, ask what feels best for them. Take initiative and be vocal, this sort of confidence is sexy.
